Myrtengården is a care and nursing home located in the heart of Bredbyn.

We are staffed around the clock with skilled and dedicated personnel. We have four departments, and together with unit managers and nurses, we provide care, service, and support to a total of 40 residents. We at Myrtengården are now looking for two dedicated employees who want to be part of our team and make a positive difference for our residents. We warmly welcome your application!

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our residents. We work health-promoting with the aim of strengthening the individual’s own abilities and ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life to the fullest.

Participation, development, and community are key words for us, where continuous improvements create the conditions for good quality.

Your tasks will include personal care, case management duties, as well as social and physical activities with our residents.

We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life and a pleasant environment for our residents.

The positions are for two permanent full-time contracts (100%), with start date according to agreement. Working hours follow a schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Since public transport is limited, a driver's license and car are desirable for applicants who do not live in Bredbyn.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer that you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working in care and nursing is an advantage.

It is important that you enjoy and thrive in working with people, and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and working methods.

For the job, sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required to communicate with clients, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

A valid driver's license (category B) and access to a car are not mandatory but can be advantageous due to the lack of local transport.
