Property Caretaker Wanted

We are looking for a versatile and practical property caretaker focused on the municipality's properties – everything from preschools and schools to offices and cultural buildings. You will play an important role in ensuring that our properties function optimally for the operations that use them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshooting installations such as electrical, plumbing, ventilation, etc. (no certification required)
• Minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work (no certification required)
• Supervision and patrolling of properties
• Preventive maintenance to minimize operational disruptions
• Handling of fault reports and contact with tenants and businesses may occur
• Collaboration with external contractors for larger jobs
• Close cooperation with the municipality's property department
• Grounds maintenance and snow removal in winter

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience or education in property maintenance, management, or similar practical work (required)
• Valid B driver's license for manual transmission (required)
• Self-driven, solution-oriented, and service-minded
• Good collaboration skills and enjoys varied tasks
• Proficient in Swedish both spoken and written
• Experience or documented knowledge of common software programs (e.g., Excel, Word)
• Experience with digital work order and property systems

The candidate offered employment will need to provide a criminal record extract due to work in schools/preschools.
