Our client is a growing company that works with the installation and service of air purification systems for industry and biogas production. They are based in Gothenburg and are now looking for a service technician to take responsibility for their service cases in Mälardalen.

The role means you will be the sole technician in the region, but with continuous support from the head office. You will work from home and be responsible for planned service, minor installations, and urgent cases. Together with colleagues from the Gothenburg office, you will also assist with new installations. You have great freedom to plan your days and are responsible for ensuring that the work is done with high quality and thorough documentation.

Your future tasks

The role includes independent work in the field, where you handle everything from service to simpler repairs and customer contact.

Examples of tasks:

• Perform planned service
• Replace components
• Conduct troubleshooting and take action on urgent problems
• Keep documentation updated in the Service Protocol system
• Plan the workweek and schedule service appointments
• Assist with new installations and commissioning of new stations as needed

We are looking for someone who

is self-driven, solution-oriented, and has an easy time communicating with customers. You need to be practical and enjoy fixing and solving technical problems on your own. Experience is not everything; what matters is that you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn!

Requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Previous experience in technical work where you have used tools, e.g., from plumbing, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical installations
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Good computer skills 
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Experience in service and maintenance in the field
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and component replacement
• Previous work in documentation systems
