Your ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for individuals with experience in welding or sheet metal work for our client in Karlskrona. As a welder, you will be responsible for high-quality welding according to specified drawings and requirements, working with various materials and welding methods such as MIG/MAG, TIG, and robotic welding, as well as ensuring that the final product meets quality standards. As a sheet metal worker, you will work with different sheet metal materials, perform manufacturing and assembly work, and carry out repairs and maintenance of existing sheet metal structures. You will adapt sheet metal materials according to drawings and specifications and ensure high quality and accuracy in your work.

Your ProfileWe are now seeking welders for our unique production of state-of-the-art submarines and surface vessels at one of the world's most modern shipyards. In your role, you will work with new installations, maintenance, and repairs. We use a wide range of welding methods from MIG/MAG to TIG and robotic welding, which will put your skills and craftsmanship to the test. In your profession as a heavy plate worker, you will encounter various special steels for submarine manufacturing. To succeed as a welder with us, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous. Your profileRequirements• Work experience in welding with various welding methods• Experience with welding method 136• Experience with welding method 141 or 111• Education or equivalent experience in welding materials thicker than 10 mm• Experience in reading drawings• Flexibility, teamwork skills, initiative, and organizational skills• Computer skillsPreferred• Welding licenses• Experience in preheating materials• Experience in gas cutting• Hot work• Experience in arc gouging/arc chipping• Previous work in material group 3• Previous work in the shipbuilding industry or other heavy welding industries.
