The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are permeated by the individual at the center to meet individual needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in Motala municipality, you will provide our users with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. You will respectfully guide, support, and motivate the tenant to manage their daily routines in the best way according to their own abilities. The tasks may vary from personal hygiene, care, cleaning, laundry, support during meals, assistance in social activities, outdoor activities, and collaboration with relatives. It includes being a contact person, planning, implementing, documenting in the Viva system, and following up on care work. You will also perform health and medical care interventions and rehabilitation based on orders from nurses and rehabilitation staff. Together, we develop the operation through our various competencies, and we want you to contribute to a good result and the best possible everyday life for our users.

The night organization of home care provides care at night with good quality to users who need support and help to manage their daily lives and to be able to stay in their own homes. We provide services tailored to the users' needs and also respond to alarms at night.

The work includes regular tasks as a nursing assistant in home care at night. Work in nursing homes or other parts of elderly care may occur to some extent within the unit. Work at other times than night may also be included, such as evenings. The work also includes delegated health and medical tasks as well as IT-based documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Competencies:

• You have a completed degree in care and support.
• You are accustomed to using a computer as a support in your work and easily adapt to new digital tools.
• You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, as the role involves documentation.
• You have a driver's license for a passenger car (using home care's cars in service).
• Previous experience in care and support-related tasks is an advantage.

• You should have a genuine interest in working with people, a good ability to collaborate with others, and a respectful attitude towards users and staff. You actively take the initiative in social contexts, step forward, and easily create and maintain relationships.
• You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to emerging problems.
• You organize and plan your work well, working according to a clear process where you complete what you have started.
• You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, will, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
• There may be physically demanding tasks that you need to be able to handle.
