A nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone skilled in their profession who enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together with the team, including care tasks, rehabilitation, and management, we collaborate around the resident to ensure a good life every day.

The specific competence of a licensed nurse is care. This includes both the scientific knowledge area and the patient-centered work based on a humanistic view of people. You are responsible for ensuring that our residents' health and medical care needs are met.

As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead the nursing work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their relatives, being responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. An important task is also to guide, support, and educate other care staff and to be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, with great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial collaboration are of great importance in the role.

Slottsovalen is a small, pleasant elderly home for people with dementia. We have room for 40 retirees. Our unique single-story facility in the castle pavilions at Farsta Castle allows residents to enjoy outdoor activities in the castle's courtyard all year round. The surrounding environment is also health-promoting, with proximity to both forest and sea!

• We are looking for a licensed nurse

• It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a nurse in dementia care

• You need to have good knowledge of health and medical care regulations

• You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

• We would like you to have knowledge of documentation based on ICF and KVÅ 

• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations

Employment form: Permanent

Scope: 75% according to agreement

Start date: According to agreement

Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by presenting proof of EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
