Temporary junior doctor at the VO Orthopedics.

Full-time employment starting from 8/6 to 16/8 approx.

Job description

Primarily, you will work in the Orthopedic section of the emergency department and on our wards during day and evening shifts. Your tasks will also include follow-up appointments after orthopedic traumas as well as assessment and treatment of orthopedic patients in both outpatient and inpatient care. There will also be opportunities to assist in the operating department. The work requires a high degree of independence, but there will, of course, be senior colleagues to consult when needed.

Qualifications

Approved term 10 in the medical program.

We are looking for someone who is positive, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, is flexible, and has an interest in Orthopedics. We place great importance on personal suitability, and previous junior doctor positions or other work experience in healthcare are meritorious.

About the department

The Orthopedics department at Danderyd Hospital operates around the clock with over 300 employees. We provide both emergency and elective care and see patients at our orthopedic outpatient clinic, at the orthopedic section of the hospital's emergency department, and at our two orthopedic inpatient wards. We operate in the central operating room with our own surgical staff and also conduct day orthopedic surgery. Our department also includes a comprehensive paramedical section.
