The company owns around 1750 trailers for freight transport as well as transshipment and logistics terminals and its own trucks. 

About the Freight Forwarder Position

In the role of Freight Forwarder, you will specialize in import forwarding within road transport to the Western European market. Your work will involve planning, booking, and monitoring deliveries. You will handle varying volumes of goods for NTEX's framework agreement customers. Additionally, you will work with spot customers where the main focus is on handling piece goods. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments such as traffic planning and customs administrators. Your role also includes active customer contact and a strong customer focus where you listen to the customer's needs and assess whether NTEX can deliver according to requirements and quality. Furthermore, you will have contact with various carriers. You are also expected to be available for standby on a rolling schedule.

You will be part of a team consisting of 6 employees with varying backgrounds and experiences to share. In this position, you will be based at NTEX's newly renovated airy office located in Arendal (Gothenburg), where you have easy access to public transport.  

Your main responsibilities:

• Planning, booking, and monitoring deliveries.
• Handling of piece goods.
• Close contact with all stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of work experience as an import or export freight forwarder within road transport and handling of piece goods. To succeed in this role, you need to be fluent in Swedish and English and possess good computer skills as you will be working in several systems and programs simultaneously.

Important for the position:

• Work experience as a freight forwarder, either in import or export.
• Being meticulous, stress-resistant, curious, and solution-oriented.
• Good computer skills.
• Fluent language skills in Swedish and English.
