Via Gruppen is a growing group with operations in energy, technology, and services. We are looking for an Executive Director with a broad and trusted mandate to ensure cohesive, stable, and effective operational management of the group's subsidiaries.

The role is central to the group management and is aimed at an experienced leader with a proven ability to drive organizations through expansion, change, and high complexity.

About the role

As Executive Director, you are responsible for translating the group's strategic direction into structured and functioning operational activities. You lead and coordinate the subsidiaries, establish processes and control functions, and ensure stability and quality throughout the group.

The role also involves stepping in as CEO or chairman of the board in subsidiaries when needed. You work closely with the group CEO and act as the cohesive link between group management and operational units.

Main responsibilities

• Operational management and coordination of the group's subsidiaries.
• Temporary CEO or chairman of the board assignments where enhanced leadership is required.
• Development and implementation of group-wide processes, routines, and KPIs.
• Ensuring internal control, reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Leading the implementation of digital and AI-based workflows and streamlining internal systems.
• Recruitment, management, and development of key personnel and management structures.
• Analysis, follow-up, and reporting of operational results to the group CEO.
• Driving efficiencies and actions in case of deviations in operational flows.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a leadership position at group, CEO, or COO level.
• Proven ability to build and structure organizations in growth phases.
• Strong competence in operational management, corporate governance, and P/L responsibility.
• Ability to work in a structured, long-term manner with high quality in complex environments.
• Experience representing a group in internal and external formal contexts.
• Experience in the energy, technology, or service sector is a plus.
