About this opportunity:

You will lead an ASIC IP development team focused on Radio Near Algorithms development. The team is diverse in culture and age and works on R&D to deliver high-quality algorithmic IP for ASICs. This role combines technical leadership, people management and cross-group collaboration. Success means building trust in the team, enabling individual growth and delivering research outcomes into production-ready IP.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage a multi-cultural ASIC IP development team working on radio algorithm development.
• Set clear direction, priorities and goals; align team activities with broader engineering and business objectives.
• Coach, mentor and develop engineers to improve technical skills, collaboration and ownership.
• Oversee R&D activities: guide technical decisions, monitor progress, and ensure delivery quality and timelines.
• Foster a culture of trust, open communication and continuous improvement.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the team and with other groups; communicate progress, risks and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Drive change where needed and support team members to become collaborative, high-performing engineers.

You will bring:

• R&D development experience with a track record of delivering technical results.
• Strong listening, communication and leadership skills; ability to coach and develop engineers.
• Experience managing diverse teams and creating an environment of trust and collaboration.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on technical guidance with people leadership and strategic thinking.

Preferred:

• Experience in ASIC or hardware development is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
• Domain knowledge of radio algorithms or ASIC IP development will accelerate impact but can be acquired on the job.
