Absol Rail is a company that started in 2019 and is now in an expansion phase where we are looking for a project engineer to assist with technical questions. At Absol Rail, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the signaling system on Tvärbanan and are constantly seeking new projects.

Your main tasks will be to be part of the project team where you assist project managers with technical questions throughout all phases of a project. You will also, if interested, design and update drawings. The opportunities for development are very good, and the position is a permanent employment where the majority of the work takes place during the day. However, work during inconvenient hours such as weekends and nights may occur.

Examples of tasks:

· Analysis and risks of technical documentation

· Lead and participate in technical work

· Risk calculations

· Establish technical documentation

· Develop training plans for staff

· Participate in technical work

· Design drawings in CAD and/or Auto-CAD

We are looking for someone who has:

· A degree in electrical engineering or electronics

o 0-3 years of experience

· A valid driver's license (B)

· Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English

· Met health requirements

· Experience in writing and reading documentation

It is an advantage if you have:

· Experience with CAD/Microstation or similar

· Previous experience working with electricity

Personal qualities

To be comfortable in this role, we are looking for someone who can work independently but is also a team player with good communication skills. You have a proactive approach to work and are structured as many tasks may overlap. To deliver what we promise to our customers, we also want you to be meticulous and always strive to deliver the final product with the highest quality.
