Here, you work together with colleagues in departments for communication, HR, IT, finance, procurement, and property, as well as the departments for quality and planning, sustainability, safety, security, and preparedness, and the secretariat. The Municipal Executive Office also houses the organizations for business and destination as well as shared services. The office is the link between our elected representatives' decisions and all municipal operations. Meal Service is a division within the Municipal Executive Office that operates restaurants and kitchens in preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, senior restaurants, and residences within care and welfare services. Celsius School Restaurant

At Celsius School Restaurant, we serve approximately 950 meals every day, and you will have a couple of colleagues to work with. We continuously develop our operations to stay at the forefront. We are gradually increasing our ecological purchases. The position is full-time from Monday to Friday, but weekend work may occur.

Job Description

As a chef with us in Meal Service, you need to be able to plan, prepare, and cook various meals according to the Meal Service menu, as well as plan and make purchases of food together with other chefs in the kitchen.

Taking responsibility for HACCP and actively working with waste is a given for us. Baking bread and presenting food in an appealing way when serving guests are also essential tasks for a chef with us.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a culinary education. The job requires documented experience as a chef. We also expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of special dietary management.

If you have training in special diets, tailored nutrition, and documented experience in cooking for special diets, this is considered an advantage. We prefer candidates with good computer skills, including knowledge of the Office suite and dietary systems. It is also an advantage if you have a B driver's license.

You are a flexible person who can see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you can make decisions and act based on what you believe, even if others think differently. You remain calm and composed in pressured situations. To succeed in this role, it is important that you can work in a structured manner and plan your work. Additionally, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions.
