Three kilometers outside Örebro city, a couple of turns from E18 and E20 lies Scandic Örebro Väst - a perfect starting point to explore the city's culture and entertainment. We are now looking for a Shift Leader Restaurant for Scandic Örebro Väst.

What does the role of Shift Leader Restaurant entail?
Those working in our restaurant are the first guests meet, so it is essential to have a warm demeanor and be attentive to details and guests' needs. You have a passionate interest in food and beverages and appreciate order and cleanliness in both your own and your colleagues' work. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will include serving food and beverages and being responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.
As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operation, you have an overall overview of the guest flow in the restaurant and, together with the team, ensure that tasks are prioritized so that operations run smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and also relieve the Restaurant Manager of certain administrative tasks.
Who are you?
To fit this role, we believe you have at least five years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. You have both the ability and the desire to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and sales drive. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit this role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
