Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Jira & Confluence Expert to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Drive the strategic direction and long-term roadmap for Jira and Confluence.
• Ensure the platforms support business goals and follow established principles, standards and governance models.
• Capture, analyze and translate organizational needs into concrete solutions and development initiatives.
• Lead prioritization of enhancements, plugins, integrations and platform improvements.
• Conduct inventories of current processes and working methods and propose improvements.
• Manage operational administration, configuration, optimization and user support.
• Coordinate with IT operations and external vendors regarding maintenance, upgrades and incident handling.
• Lead development work and ensure structures, templates and best practices are implemented and followed.
• Act as the central point of contact between business teams, IT and third parties.
• Hold workshops, training sessions and knowledge-sharing forums to strengthen adoption and platform maturity.
• Monitor budgets and prepare decision documentation for investments, licenses and integrations.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements across processes and usage patterns.
• Evaluate when plugins or functionalities should be modernized, replaced or discontinued.
• Plan and execute migrations, consolidations and lifecycle management for the platforms and associated workflows.

What you bring:

• Deep expertise in Jira, Confluence and the Atlassian ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of governance models, configuration management and platform lifecycle management.
• Proven experience translating business needs into platform solutions and improvements.
• Ability to lead development activities and drive cross-organizational initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability across business and IT.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, IT operations and external partners.
• Structured, analytical and proactive mindset with focus on long-term sustainability and value creation.
• Experience planning and executing migrations, consolidations and system modernization initiatives.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English.
