Recruitment Training in Food Production
Protos ABGotlands län, Gotland
Previous experience is desired
Thanks to our modern facility in Visby and the close contact with farmers, we have everything we need to develop sustainably produced, nutritious, and delicious food.
In Gotland, Visby, we have our large and modern food production facility. Here we refine and develop all our food products. Thanks to the short distances on Gotland and the close contact with farmers on the island, we have full control over all steps in food production, from farm to table. We work long-term with development, quality, and sustainability. We also have an office in Solna and a smaller slaughterhouse in Sörby, Uppland, which gives us proximity to all our customers and consumers - and not least - many farmers we have begun to collaborate with in the Mälardalen region to work locally and regionally with various food ingredients.
We therefore believe that we have succeeded in our company to combine the best of both worlds, a solid and quality operation in Gotland and at the same time proximity to Sweden's largest supermarket with many opportunities for influences, ideas, and collaborations.
Protos, together with Astar and the Employment Service, will now start a recruitment training program lasting 40 weeks. Those who complete the training will receive a certificate in slaughtering and butchering (competence certificate in euthanasia and, in some cases, classification). You who complete the entire training with a passing result will be offered employment afterwards.
To succeed in this training, you should have good physical fitness, and you must enjoy working in a team. You must master Swedish in both spoken and written form to benefit from this training.
You must be registered as a job seeker with the Employment Service to apply for this training.
We will accept students for the training on an ongoing basis, after interested candidates have visited our facility for a study visit and interview.
The training will start on 26-02-02 with a 20-week spring term. We have an 8-week break over the summer - where there is a great opportunity for summer jobs at the facility - the autumn term will start again in week 34 and will also be 20 weeks long.
Welcome with your application!
