Job Responsibilities

As a mechanic, you play an important role in the daily operational work, which involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance. You will be part of a team consisting of 20 competent colleagues with various areas of expertise to ensure stable operations that contribute to important functions for our manufacturing unit in Åkers Styckebruk.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has completed their vocational education as a mechanic or has equivalent experience and has worked for a few years with machine maintenance. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in machine maintenance, particularly heavy maintenance, and if you have experience with laser alignment. It is also beneficial if you have training in overhead cranes and aerial lifts, as well as a forklift license.

It is a requirement that you have good verbal and written skills in Swedish as you will communicate with several functions within the company.

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities, such as having a strong personal drive, being meticulous, and being responsible. Of course, you are service-oriented and have an easy time communicating with others.

The working hours are initially from 7 AM to 3 PM, but after onboarding, you will be ready to work shifts.
