About the Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and solutions-oriented Maintenance Mechanic/Technician with a passion for machinery for one of our clients in Strängnäs municipality.

What the Role Involves

The client company is now looking for its next Maintenance Mechanic/Technician who will play a key role in the operation by ensuring continuous operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facilities in the company's modern manufacturing plant. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and ensuring a safe workplace.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including shears, folding machines, welders, overhead cranes, blasting & painting facilities, forklifts, and other machinery.
Calibrate tools according to annual cycles.
Maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
Ensure that safety standards and protocols are always followed.

Working hours: Daytime
Start: Immediately/as agreed, preferably in February 2026.

This is a direct recruitment where you will be employed directly by the client company.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

High school diploma in industrial technology or equivalent
At least 3 years of work experience in similar roles and maintenance within heavy industry.
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and drawings.
Skilled with tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair.
Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form are required.
Driver's license B is required.

As a person, you should be engaged, responsible, proactive, and solutions-oriented - a practical problem solver with a passion for machinery and maintenance. You should have good communication skills to collaborate closely with various production teams.
