About the position

In the role of electrician, you play an important part in the daily operational work, which involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance. The work as an electrician with us includes troubleshooting and corrective actions in our production. In your role as an electrician, you will perform facility-related work in the form of corrective maintenance within facility maintenance and technology, which means restoring the facility to production status. The work also includes a systematic approach to continuous improvements.

You will be part of a team of 20 competent colleagues with a strong team spirit, which creates the best conditions for ensuring high operational stability in both facilities and production equipment. Together, you will work to ensure stable operations that contribute to important functions for our manufacturing unit in Åkers Styckebruk.

Working hours

The working hours are initially from 7 AM to 3 PM, but after training, you will be ready to work shifts and be on call.

About you

• We are looking for someone who has completed their vocational education as an electrician or has equivalent experience. You should also have worked for a few years as an electrician, preferably in the industry.
• You are flexible, service-oriented, organized, and meticulous, and you understand the importance of the team's collective effort.
• You have a strong safety mindset and always prioritize safety, both for yourself and your colleagues.
• You want to learn new things, find it easy to collaborate with other professions, and seek help when needed.
• You have good technical knowledge and the ability to perform maintenance activities safely and effectively.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience in machine maintenance, especially heavy maintenance, as well as if you have overhead crane and aerial lift training and a forklift license.
• It is a requirement that you have good oral and written skills in Swedish as you will communicate with several functions within the company.
• Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities such as having a strong personal drive, being meticulous, and being responsible.
• Of course, you are service-oriented and have an easy time communicating with others.
• You also hold a B driver's license.
• You can work shifts.
