Maintenance and Transport Unit

The Maintenance and Transport Unit in the Supply Department consists of 19 employees who work with mail, goods packages, waste management, access cards, and transportation.

Your Responsibilities

The driver we are looking for will primarily start from Visby Hospital with both a truck and a delivery vehicle. You will be responsible for transporting mail, goods, packages, aids, storage carts, and pallets to various operations and units. This also includes food transportation with food carts to different units, mainly within the Visby area.

You will be part of a rotation schedule with two other employees, which means you will have scheduled work every third weekend and also on certain public holidays.

Who Are You?

For this position, a C license and an active YKB are required. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in a similar driving/distribution role.

The work is sometimes fast-paced, so good planning skills are required. High stress tolerance is necessary to maintain a calm and controlled workflow even during time-critical and sensitive transports, such as food.

You are responsible, adaptable, and solution-oriented. A good sense of service is essential to deliver a positive experience to our customers and to maintain good interaction and collaboration with your colleagues.
