Right now, Region Skåne is making the largest investments ever in Skåne's hospital areas. The property management area is responsible for creating reliable healthcare and is responsible for the operation and service of Region Skåne's hospitals. In Trelleborg, about eight employees work in the hospital area, where we have the primary responsibility for creating world-class operational reliability and being a trusted partner to healthcare. As a technician with us in property management, you will work in an organization with overall responsibility for Region Skåne's property portfolio.

Our operational area includes a variety of technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, property control and monitoring systems, medical gases, as well as power supply and distribution. These are complex systems for which we are responsible for preventive maintenance and participate in larger renovations and new installation projects. Our work is conducted in a hospital environment, with patient safety in focus, in close collaboration with Region Skåne's operations and its staff, project managers, consultants, and contractors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a responsible and proactive electrician with broad general technical competence for Trelleborg Hospital.

As an electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and optimizing advanced electrical systems in a technically high-performing environment. In this role, you will work with monitoring and control systems, backup power, UPS, emergency lighting, lighting control, and other critical components required by critical healthcare environments. Operational reliability is our focus area, and preventive maintenance and reactive interventions to achieve this are part of everyday life.

As a new employee, you will receive an introduction tailored to your previous experiences and competencies. Region Skåne is registered as an electrical contractor with its own self-control program, and the position includes tailored training to meet the program's purposes and goals. The self-control program is available to support staff and includes, among other things, competence templates, role descriptions, organization, working methods, and regulations.

We offer you a job in a technically developing environment where you will work with installation floors, tunnels, and technical infrastructure that requires high competence. In this role, you can influence different system solutions and have great opportunities to continuously broaden your knowledge in advanced technical contexts. The position is a permanent full-time position based in Trelleborg.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has at least completed upper secondary education with a focus on electrical engineering or other education and/or work experience that we consider equivalent. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills. The position involves driving to customers in Trelleborg and the surrounding area, so a valid B driver's license is required. Work experience in operation, installation, and troubleshooting within technically demanding electrical environments, such as industry, is considered an advantage. Additionally, experience with electrical systems in healthcare or similar high-critical environments is advantageous. Since we deal with a large number of different tasks daily, experience with high voltage, transformers, switching work in substations, and/or backup power systems and UPS is also considered advantageous. Having electrical authorization is a plus.

As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and analytical. You have a good ability to take independent initiatives in line with the best interests of the operations and have a strong commitment to your tasks. Furthermore, you have a natural service mindset and contribute to good cooperation and communication with both colleagues and customers. You are good at coordinating and administering and work in a structured manner. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.
