Västernorrland is one of five regions in the country that, on behalf of the National Board of Health and Welfare, provides national highly specialized care (NHV) for severe eating disorders. We offer high-intensity treatment for individuals over 18 years old, based on many years of experience in eating disorder care.

The purpose of concentrating this care is to enable the provider to maintain competence within the entire multidisciplinary team and to develop and maintain a good quality of care without limiting accessibility. NHV has a close collaboration with other operations within the regional psychiatric services in Västernorrland County.

We are now looking for nursing assistants to join our team for the summer of 2026! The positions are full-time temporary contracts starting from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with:

• Psychiatric care
• Assessments and observations
• Conversations and support interventions
• Evaluations and sample collections
• Collaboration with other stakeholders, such as:
  • Family
  • Social services
  • Housing
  • Outpatient care services
• Active participation in teamwork
• Independent work as a contact person

The position involves working irregular hours such as evenings, nights, and weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
