Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Review the current internally developed risk-assessment tool built on .NET Framework with Excel import/export functionality.
  • Modernize, upgrade or replace the existing solution based on established rules, parameters and business logic.
  • Contribute to platform selection and architectural decisions for the new application.
  • Design and implement a configurable solution that enables domain experts to modify rules and logic without developer involvement.
  • Prepare the solution for a future migration from on-premise to Azure cloud.
  • Implement structured database storage for all completed assessments.
  • Deliver a maintainable, well-structured and easily modifiable tool with high-quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with the original developer (limited availability) to ensure full knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with domain experts and end users to understand application needs, workflows and intended functionality.
  • Operate independently in a remote back-office setup while maintaining strong communication with the team.

What you bring:

  • Strong expertise in .NET Framework and Excel integration.
  • Broad knowledge of software platforms, architectures and programming languages.
  • Approximately 5–7 years of experience developing similar tools or applications.
  • Experience building configurable internal tools for expert users.
  • Experience working with graphical programming environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud migration approaches, preferably Azure.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured, quality-driven and documentation-focused mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently.
  • Availability for weekly or bi-weekly onsite meetings in Ludvika, with increased presence during initial ramp-up.
