We are now looking for a Product Manager for our steam technology business area.

About the role
As a Product Manager, you will have overall responsibility for Alnab's operations within steam technology – an area that is crucial for industrial processes. You will be responsible for the relationship with our supplier Gestra in Germany, while also being the primary contact for our customers in industries such as energy & power, paper & cellulose, chemistry & petrochemicals, and refineries.

In this role, you will combine commercial responsibility with technical knowledge. You will act as a product specialist for our field sales team, handle technical inquiries from customers, participate in pricing, and follow up on results and profitability via Power BI. You will drive sales forward in close collaboration with our field sales team and marketing department, and you will be a key person in developing new products and markets.

Your responsibilities

• Support our customers with technical advice to ensure high quality in deliveries.
• Be responsible for business decisions within your product area regarding market strategy, product range, pricing, and profitability.
• Inventory and purchasing planning in close dialogue with the supplier to ensure product availability.
• Work closely with our field sales team, support in customer dialogues, conduct joint visits, and be actively involved in the quotation process.
• Contribute to our growth journey by actively working on the development of new markets and products.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in technical sales, preferably within steam technology, process industry, or a related field. You have a good technical understanding and interest in industrial processes, strong business drive, and experience in combining technology and sales. You have a good ability to build long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers. To succeed, an entrepreneurial drive and the ability to work both independently and in a team are required. We work systematically with follow-up, so good IT skills and experience with various analytical tools, such as Power BI, are necessary for the role. You need to be fluent in Swedish and English; proficiency in German is a definite advantage.
