At the inpatient care BUP, we want to continue building a person-centered approach and offer high competence for the patient's needs while emphasizing the application of evidence-based guidelines and care programs. For us, there is room for conversations with patients and relatives - the nursing work - which is a central part for you as a nurse with us.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have further education in psychiatry, training in MI-motivational interviewing, and previous experience working in child or adult psychiatry and/or experience working with children. Knowledge of Cosmic and other languages is also an advantage.

We place great importance on personal qualities. You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are also calm, stable with both empathetic ability and teamwork skills, and value and see the benefit of collaboration with others.


This is what you will work with

Do you want to help develop inpatient care for our children and adolescents? For us, person-centered care is a given. Therefore, you will have room for conversations with patients and relatives. In the department, we actively work on developing patient participation, care plans, and where nursing is an important part together with the medical.

As a nurse, you coordinate care efforts for the patients, perform sampling, and administer medication. In psychiatric nursing, supportive conversations and psychoeducation are also included, as well as documentation in the Cosmic journal system. You also have a mentoring and consultative role in nursing work towards your colleagues. We care for patients in the acute phase and have 6 care places. Patients are cared for by staff in teams consisting of caregivers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and doctors, as well as medical secretaries. Care is conducted in close collaboration with child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient care, social services, and pediatric medicine in the region.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Working hours are three shifts: day, evening, night, and weekends. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
