About the role:

As an occupational health engineer, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for driving and developing Kiwa's work with the physical work environment. You will support managers and employees in matters related to occupational health and safety. In your role, you will work closely with HR regarding organizational and psychosocial work environment to ensure that systematic occupational health and safety work permeates the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that procedures and templates comply with laws and the requirements of the Swedish Work Environment Authority. By staying updated on occupational health and safety issues and the requirements of the Swedish Work Environment Authority, as well as having good knowledge of Kiwa's routines, you actively contribute to improving our occupational health and safety processes and methods.

Your tasks also include:

  • Managing reporting and statistics regarding incidents and accidents and presenting materials to management
  • Participating in the occupational health and safety committee meetings and following up on safety rounds and risk analyses
  • Collaborating with the safety organization on occupational health and safety issues
  • Following up on deficiencies in personal safety and work environment
  • Supporting incident investigations
  • Ensuring reporting and maintaining contacts with relevant authorities
  • Collaborating within Kiwa Group on occupational health and safety issues and implementing group-wide materials
  • Internal reporting within Kiwa Group

Selection and interviews will begin after the Christmas holiday.

Do you have what it takes?

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a strong commitment and interest in occupational health and safety issues. You work independently and take the initiative to drive the work forward. At the same time, you are a communicative team player who finds it easy to build trust and create good collaborations and relationships within the organization.

We see that you have:

  • Relevant education in occupational health and safety
  • Experience in systematic occupational health and safety work in a large or medium-sized organization
  • Swedish and English in spoken and written form
  • Driving license B
