Introduction

Welcome to Plusfamiljen, a family-owned assistance company with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with functional variations. We are now looking for a personal assistant who can work as a substitute when needed for a 25-year-old girl in Tyresö who lives with ME/CFS.

About the Role

As a personal assistant for our 25-year-old girl in Tyresö, you will play a crucial role in her pursuit of independence and a meaningful life. The position involves 12-hour shifts; daytime between 09:00-21:00 or 21:00-09:00, where you will be awake throughout the night shift to provide the necessary support.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to step in as needed, both on weekdays and weekends. The position is ideal for you who already have a flexible daily routine and can contribute to creating a safe and stable environment for our client.

Qualifications

To take on the role of personal assistant, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• You have an empathetic and open-minded attitude, as well as the ability to understand and adapt to different situations.
• You understand what is required to work with individuals who live with high sensitivity.
• You are resilient and have experience in CPR and first aid.
• You work methodically with care that brings calm and security.
• You speak and write Swedish fluently, as communication is of utmost importance.
• You have good physical and mental health, which is important for performing the job duties.
• You can provide a criminal record extract and give two references.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a personal assistant will include:

• Meeting the client's needs according to the implementation plan.
• Participating in activities that promote the client's interests and independence, such as discussions about social issues and philosophy.
• Handling any physical and cognitive challenges with care and professionalism.
• Communicating effectively and clearly to ensure that the client's needs and wishes are always met.
