Job Responsibilities

You will work closely with your five colleagues who are social pedagogues and occupational therapists, where your specific professional competence will be an important complement. Together, you will develop and be responsible for group activities and staffing, where no day will be like the other. You will also collaborate with other actors within the municipal organization as well as externally with, for example, healthcare providers, the social insurance agency, and the employment agency.

About the Workplace

The mission of the Business and Labor Market Administration is to strengthen Nynäshamn municipality as an attractive place for entrepreneurs. We meet the need for skills by offering education to young people and adults at Nynäshamn High School and Campus Nynäshamn. We also work to increase the opportunities for people who are far from the labor market to establish themselves or return to work.

The mission of Aktivitetshuset Idun is to be the municipality's arena for employment, work training, and social support aimed at increasing quality of life, strengthening the sense of coherence and meaning, increasing trust in one's own abilities, and the experience of empowerment for individuals aged 16 to 66 with various challenges who have defined their need for the service. Challenges may include cognitive difficulties, mental health issues, dependency problems, neuropsychiatric issues, or any other complex life situation that has contributed to "exclusion". The operation also shapes interventions for individuals who are very far from the labor market, receive financial assistance, and for various reasons are on sick leave without income qualifying for sick pay.

The open meeting place activity offers social interaction and support to break isolation. In addition, interventions of a more work-oriented and mobilizing nature are offered in the form of employment and work training as well as group activities focused on health, leisure, and culture. Development of activities is continuously ongoing and is based on the participants' interests, motivation, and participation. For participants with intervention decisions, an individual planning is also formed with regular follow-up.

What We Are Looking for in You

To succeed in this role, you have:

• a bachelor's degree in social work
• solid experience working with individuals with functional variations and complex issues
• very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• a valid driver's license (B).

It is an advantage if you have:

• extensive knowledge of the labor market area as well as operational development work
• methodological knowledge in CM (Case Management), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and SE (Supported Employment)
• multilingual skills as we meet participants with different linguistic backgrounds.

You have the ability to work independently based on your specialist knowledge and keep focus on meeting the participants' needs and further planning. You are proactive, come up with new ideas, insights, and find solutions. Finally, you find it easy to create and maintain relationships, build networks, collaborate, and cooperate.
