Personal Assistant Wanted

Would you like to work as a personal assistant for a young man in his late teens? If so, you are warmly welcome to send us your application. Our client lives with his family in a villa in Märsta and needs assistants to support and guide him in his daily life.

Here you will work in a cheerful team where everyone enjoys their work and does their utmost for our client. We use tactile signs and sign language with our client. The client has epilepsy and PEG. You will work in the home where the family is also present. You will have friendly colleagues and an active client who truly appreciates his assistants. You will receive tailored introduction/training in all aspects of the client's care needs and routines.

Assistant's Role and Experience

You are welcome to have experience with epilepsy, PEG, and alternative communication or sign language. We see that you, as a person, have a strong desire to learn more. If you are the right person, we will train you in tactile sign language; personal suitability is very important to us. As an assistant with us, you need to be confident in yourself, meticulous, and calm. Being positive and able to share yourself creates joy and provides security.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours as we in the workgroup manage staffing if someone is sick or on vacation – we support our client and each other.

Desirable Experiences

• Smoke and perfume-free
• Experience in care and nursing
• Previous experience working as a personal assistant/working with children
• Experience or interest in tactile sign language/alternative communication
• It is important that you can read and speak Swedish fluently
• Experience with epilepsy and tube feeding (PEG)

• Start as soon as possible
