Arctic Paper is a leading European manufacturer of high-quality graphic fine paper with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and long-term commitment. With roots in the Nordic industry and production in Sweden (Munkedal and Grycksbo) and Poland (Kostrzyn), we deliver paper to customers worldwide in the publishing, printing, and packaging industries. The production capacity for the three mills is approximately 700,000 tons of paper per year. The majority is sold through 14 of the company's own sales offices in Europe.

Our operations also include significant ownership in the pulp industry through our stake in Rottneros. Do you want to take a place in an operation where operational reliability and problem-solving are crucial?

As the maintenance manager close to operations at Arctic Paper Grycksbo, you will be a central part of our production and responsible for managing what happens here and now – while leading a team towards long-term stability.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for leading and organizing the daily maintenance operations. You will work closely with production and receive tasks directly from the line, which means you will often handle urgent needs and ensure that machines and equipment are quickly back in operation. Planned maintenance activities may also occur – your task is to ensure they are carried out efficiently and with high quality. We also want you to drive improvement work, follow up on efforts, and ensure that work is conducted according to laws, company guidelines, and high standards for workplace safety and health. You will share responsibility with another maintenance manager who leads a similar group but focuses on a different part of production. Together, you will create structure and collaboration to optimize operational reliability throughout the facility.

You will be responsible for maintenance technicians across various professional groups and ensure they have the right conditions to succeed. With your technical expertise and leadership, you will create structure in an environment that demands high speed, safety, and collaboration. You are a key person in minimizing downtime and contributing to stable and efficient production.

Your Profile

We are looking for a confident and inspiring leader. Leadership is the most important part of the role – you need to be able to motivate, coach, and build trust within your team. You have experience leading in a fast-paced operational environment and are used to making quick decisions. Technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical maintenance is valuable, but your strength lies in organizing, prioritizing, and creating order in complex situations.

You have a good understanding of workplace safety, quality, and environmental issues, as well as experience driving improvement work and working with digital tools. Your communication skills are strong, and you enjoy collaborating with different parts of the organization. You are solution-oriented, flexible, and have a strong work ethic – qualities that help you succeed in a dynamic and eventful environment.
