About the Job

Nordemans Bil is looking for reinforcement with a Car Body Repair Technician for our Damage team in newly renovated premises in Lycksele.

Your Responsibilities

As a Car Body Repair Technician, you are someone who wants collision and body-damaged vehicles to look like new after repairs. You will work with collision or rust-damaged vehicles, focusing on measuring, aligning, welding, restoring, and replacing parts.

The work environment is good, and the job is significantly facilitated by modern technical aids. Being a Car Body Repair Technician is a craft where you constantly learn new things.

The profession is versatile since no damage is the same, requiring new solutions. Repairing body parts requires a lot of shaping and fingertip sensitivity. Dents and scratches are hand-directed, sanded, and filled. Various bonding methods are often used to attach materials to each other.

A cost estimate is made based on the time it normally takes to perform various tasks. Since insurance companies often contribute to the payment, it is common to discuss the content of the work plan with them.

In the role of Car Body Repair Technician, you will work in Nordemans Bil's brand workshop, where you will be trained to become a specialist in the car brands we represent. However, we also work with other car brands.

You will belong to a team of experienced repair technicians who support you in your work, and you will collaborate daily with damage advisors and parts planners. Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge in bodywork technology
• At least a 2-year automotive technical education
• Good computer/system skills
• Driving license B

Preferred Qualifications

Car Body Repair Technician – experience is required

• Automotive technical education with a focus on bodywork technology or equivalent experience
