JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our municipality is in an expansive phase to meet societal transformation, and we are now seeking reinforcement in security and preparedness.

Your placement will be directly under the security and preparedness manager, to whom you will also report, and the role is a central support within the entire municipal organization. You will be part of our team in the Security and Preparedness unit, which consists of 5 people working in preparedness, security, information security, and security protection. In this role, you will work both strategically and operationally, and you will extensively collaborate and cooperate with other colleagues in the organization as well as other authorities and stakeholders.

Your tasks will include responsibilities within civil preparedness and security protection. You will act as an expert on issues ensuring that the organization complies with legal requirements and standards, coordination, and monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as analyses and risk assessments.

In addition, you will support the operation with advice, development, and implementation of working methods and routines, as well as assist the operation with training, contracts, and procurement within the framework of security and preparedness issues.

Other tasks within the preparedness or security area may occur, such as responsibility for signal protection.

Work outside regular hours may occur as needed, and serving as TiB, Officer in Preparedness, or staff manager may become relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant academic education with a focus on preparedness, security protection, or equivalent documented education or experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You have solid experience in security or preparedness issues and are a person who can create a holistic view combined with strategic thinking. You can balance operations and security, and by having a good understanding of collaboration and coordination, you can develop trusting relationships. You have good analytical skills and can express yourself clearly and structured in both speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have previous experience in staff work, investigative work, or project management, preferably within municipal or other public operations.
