We are now looking for a pharmaceutical technician for the labeling department at APL in Umeå for a consulting assignment via Poolia. As a pharmaceutical technician at APL, you will be an important part of the team that works with inspecting, labeling, and packing sterile medicines – products that are often specially manufactured for patients with specific needs. The work is conducted according to GMP in an environment where quality, precision, and safety are always in focus.

APL, Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier AB, is tasked with manufacturing extemporaneous medicines that are individualized medications for a specific patient, aimed at improving and saving lives. Many formulations are made for children and for adults with various types of allergies. APL is state-owned and one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of extemporaneous medicines and is also an established contract manufacturer within the life science industry with resources for development, manufacturing, and analysis of medicines. APL's approximately 600 employees work at five manufacturing units in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Umeå, and Strängnäs.

Your main responsibilities

You will work in the labeling department, where you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and checking finished products
  • Labeling according to applicable quality routines and specifications
  • Packing products for delivery
  • Documenting all work according to applicable GMP requirements
  • Supporting ongoing improvement work
  • The work is done in teams but with significant personal responsibility and a clear quality focus.

This is a practical, varied, and meaningful job for those who appreciate precision, structure, and collaboration.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a high school education, preferably with a technical or scientific focus
  • Thrives in structured environments with clear routines
  • Is meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious
  • Has practical and technical interest
  • Speaks and writes fluent Swedish (requirement)
  • Has good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach to work

Desirable experiences:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing
  • Knowledge of LEAN or GMP

Before any employment, alcohol and drug tests as well as background checks will be conducted.
