We are part of Danaher's biotechnology segment and bring together technical expertise and talent from around the world to develop the next generation of life-changing therapies.

We are now looking for a person for the role of Remanufacturing/Repair Shop Engineer for the Global Service Center team at Cytiva's site in Umeå. We are a team of 9 people working on the refurbishment of entire instruments and their spare parts. The refurbishment work includes troubleshooting, disassembly, assembly, and testing. In addition, the group assists Cytiva's field engineers with tool calibration, spare parts inspection, and also performs service on entire instruments. The position is fully on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Quality control and packaging of spare parts (Spare parts return process)
  • Support the service department with administration related to purchasing, bookings, shipping, and order placement, among other things.
  • Logistics management.
  • Be involved in the daily planning within the group, maintain order and cleanliness, develop work methods, and follow applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

The main requirements for the position are:

  • 3-year high school education or at least 2 years of experience in order and logistics management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in operational work related to order and logistics management.
  • Team player with good collaboration skills and experience working with both technology and people.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is also an advantage if you have previous experience with:

  • Having previously worked with bookings, shipping, and order placement
  • Working in Magic, Oracle, and ServiceMax/Salesforce
