ABOUT THE POSITION

At the heart of Uppsala, they drive the future of health by manufacturing and marketing advanced blood testing systems that are crucial for supporting clinical diagnostics and monitoring of allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. As a process operator in the Reagents manufacturing, you will be part of the daily operations. You will perform preparations, machine settings, pack kits, monitor manufacturing machines, and compile documentation related to production batches. Your tasks will largely consist of manual work, handling the machines, and ensuring that the products meet the right quality. The team consists of 20 people, and you will be welcomed into a wonderful group where the atmosphere is open and helpful.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Thermo Fisher Scientific. The assignment will be full-time and is expected to last at least 6 months. There may be an opportunity for extension through us or direct recruitment, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has completed high school education
• Has previous experience in a similar role
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have:

• Experience in a process operator role within the life science industry
• Good experience working with documentation
• Experience with GMP

As a person, you are quality-conscious, meticulous, and unpretentious. You are proactive in your work approach and enjoy problem-solving. Furthermore, you should have a positive attitude, and since you will be working in a team, it is important that you possess good collaboration skills.

• Scope: Full-time, Monday - Friday approximately 7:30 AM - 3:45 PM
