Welcome to join us in safeguarding and developing Sweden's hydropower! We are looking for an electrical designer who will contribute to both renewal and secure maintenance of our facilities. ABOUT THE POSITION

Fortum's primary focus is hydropower and hydropower facilities, and you will be welcomed to the Central region, which manages between 30-40 facilities in its area. As an Electrical Designer, you will work on maintenance projects as well as some investment projects. You will work closely with project managers and senior design colleagues, initially joining to relieve the team, but in the long run, the ambition is for you to step up and fill a key role in the group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves detailed development and maintenance of electrical designs for hydropower facilities, from initial sketches to final commissioning, as well as ensuring high quality of all technical documentation.

You will:

• Participate in the entire project cycle, from startup, documentation to commissioning and final documentation
• Design circuit diagrams and associated documents
• Create electrical assembly documentation with circuit diagrams, layout drawings, etc.
• Work on calculations of voltage, current, and power, dimension cables, and design 400VAC centers
• Ensure that Fortum's standards for electrical and control equipment and documentation management are followed

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has education in electrical power and/or automation
• Has good knowledge and experience in working with CAD tools, preferably ELPROCAD or similar electrical design tools
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in electrical design
• Experience in cable dimensioning and calculations of voltage, current, and power
• Experience as an electrician with an interest in electrical design
• Familiarity with hydraulics and hydraulic diagrams
