We are now looking for an engaged CE driver for our operations in Umeå to drive a lift dumper, and there will also be other types of tasks, e.g., a swap body truck. On-call duty is included in the role.

Your tasks

Your main tasks will include the transportation of materials, a job performed with good quality and service. The work includes keeping vehicles and other resources in good condition, and as an environmental company, we are keen on environmentally friendly and cost-effective driving.

As a driver, your workdays will be varied. In addition to transporting containers and materials, it is part of the job to ensure that you have the right equipment based on orders, to receive and confirm orders via handheld devices, and to maintain daily contact with transport planning and customers, which requires you to be solution-oriented and have a customer-friendly attitude.

You will face the customer's challenges on site, which may involve various requests and unexpected situations that require quick problem-solving and adaptation. Being prepared for the unexpected is part of the job and provides an opportunity to constantly develop and master new situations.

It is a versatile role that requires both skill behind the wheel and physical strength and endurance to handle the demands and challenges that come with fieldwork. Carrying heavy equipment may occur, and working in various weather conditions is part of the daily routine as a driver.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, it is important that you are service-oriented, responsible, self-motivated, and have good teamwork skills. You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are physically fit and approved as a professional driver according to medical requirements. Some computer skills are an advantage, as you will need to receive and manage work orders on a handheld device and handle emails and company apps.

You who are applying for the position are a driver with a CE license, a professional competence certificate (YKB), and a digital driver's card.

Many of our drivers also drive other types of vehicles when needed, e.g., during vacation periods. Therefore, it is an advantage if you can also drive other types of vehicles (such as service vehicles, swap body trucks, and vehicle-mounted cranes), but it is not a requirement for this position.

Industry/lift dumper experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
