We are looking for a senior project manager for a long-term and strategic assignment focusing on development and implementation projects within the electricity market. The assignment involves driving complex and business-critical projects in close collaboration with both operations and IT, where governance, clarity, and secure deliveries are crucial.

About the role

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects with significant impact on the Nordic electricity market. The role entails full responsibility for time, cost, and results, continuous governance according to PPS, and close collaboration with clients, steering groups, and project teams.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Driving projects according to established project model (PPS)
• Leading project planning, follow-up, and reporting
• Coordinating business requirements with IT, operations, and support functions
• Managing risks and change management
• Ensuring structure, processes, and documentation
• Conducting feasibility studies and leading the implementation of new routines and systems
• Coordinating internal and external communication
• Travel within the Nordic region and Europe may occur

Mandatory requirements

To be considered, you must meet all of the following:

• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• At least 15 years of experience as a project manager for large, complex projects (last 20 years)
• At least 10 years of experience with projects in an international environment (last 15 years)
• At least 10 years of practical experience with PPS, PROPS, or similar project management models (last 15 years)
• At least 5 years of experience in an organization using PM3 (last 15 years)
• At least 5 years of experience in critical societal operations with very high security requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in implementing requirements according to network regulations (SO GL, FCA, CACM)
• At least 5 years of experience with projects related to the electricity market (last 10 years)

Value-added criteria (desirable experience)

Meeting these criteria will provide evaluation advantages:

• At least 5 years of experience in business development projects at a government agency, last 10 years
• At least 5 years of experience in complex Nordic projects/programs within the electricity sector, last 10 years
• At least 1 year of experience in implementing complex incentive models for external actors, last 5 years
• At least 1 year of experience in work related to financial markets
