Operations Coordinator at Pelagia – create structure for sustainable deliveries
Do you want to help build a delivery organization where natural environment, sustainable community development, and niche laboratory operations are at the center? As an Operations Coordinator, you will be the hub of our delivery process – ensuring that our ecologists, nature inventory experts, and environmental consultants have the right conditions to make a difference in the field and in projects. Here you will have a role where administration, coordination, and environmental benefits meet. You will work closely with both management and consultants, contributing to the timely execution of our assignments with high quality and a clear line towards sustainable results.

About the role

The role is central to creating structure and efficiency in our delivery organization. You will have the mandate to plan daily projects, manage budgets, and contribute to the development of our processes. You will be part of a team of two, where your colleague has subject-specific knowledge.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliveries in projects related to nature value inventories, species protection issues, environmental assessments, and other nature-related assignments.

  • Support field teams in planning, logistics, and follow-up.

  • Compile delivery status and reports for project managers and management.

  • Contribute to improved routines that strengthen both efficiency and quality in our environmental operations.

  • Maintain close communication with our internal roles and report to management.

  • Follow and develop Pelagia's annual cycle for the delivery organization.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has post-secondary education or relevant university degree.

  • Has 3–5 years of experience in coordination, project administration, or a similar role.

  • Has good knowledge of Swedish and English.

  • Is communicative, structured, and solution-oriented.

  • Has the ability to prioritize and maintain structure in a dynamic environment.

    Meritorious:

  • Experience working in natural environment, environmental consulting, or community building.

  • Good understanding of natural environment issues as well as handling maps, inventory data, and environmental requirements.

We offer

  • A workplace where nature and sustainable development are at the center.

  • The opportunity to be a key person in our growing environmental team.

  • A daily life close to engaged ecologists, biologists, and environmental specialists.

  • Flexible working methods and a caring, unpretentious team.

  • The chance to help develop processes that make a real difference for natural values and community projects.

  • Opportunities for development and to influence your role.

  • Be part of a community where we support each other and value collaboration.

  • Enjoy a flexible workday with a balance between work and leisure.

  • Take part in a favorable overall package that includes:

  • Wellness allowance and wellness hour.

  • Health insurance.

  • Favorable occupational pension.

  • Joint activities throughout the year organized by our social committee.
