Operator for the Swedish Transport Administration's facility in Kumla

We are looking for someone who wants to work as an operator at the Swedish Transport Administration's facility in Kumla and contribute to ensuring efficient production of long rails. You will be an important part of the production chain and work in a team that strives to deliver high-quality results on time. The position involves working in two shifts and possibly traveling for work.

Responsibilities:

As an operator, you will:

• Produce long rails according to planned delivery times and quality requirements.
• Manage technically approved materials and ensure that the correct content is delivered according to orders.
• Perform switching and locomotive driving on sidings (for those with safety service).
• Carry out maintenance and contribute to improving machines and units, as well as participate in investment planning.
• Implement measures in collaboration with the responsible manager.
• Participate in or lead projects related to production.
• Mentor and train new employees as needed.
• Perform scheduled on-call duties.

Your profile:

• A high safety awareness and a strong desire to follow rules and directives.
• The ability to identify systematic deficiencies and report them to management.
• Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Experience or interest in maintenance and handling of production equipment is an advantage.
