The Meal Unit's mission is to serve good and nutritious food tailored to the needs present in our operations. We want to create joy in food and contribute to health, development, and sustainable habits among our diners. We offer a well-composed diet of high quality, prepared with fine ingredients by dedicated employees. The municipality's staffing unit covers short-term absences in our preschools, schools, meal unit, leisure centers, and care services.

You can assist with varied tasks, depending on your circumstances and preferences. Your help is needed at short notice (often the same morning), and we wish for you to come and work as soon as possible. Both working hours and the number of hours may vary depending on the needs of the operation, and we may need reinforcement every day of the week.

We are currently looking for substitutes primarily for the Meal Unit as a restaurant assistant.

We work with the guest in focus, and you will be involved in creating the best dining experience for our guests. In Österåker municipality, we invest heavily in food, preparing it with good ingredients and from scratch. We want to create healthy habits among our guests by offering good, varied, and nutritious food.

Your new job

We are looking for a restaurant assistant with placement throughout the Meal Unit.

Prepare the dining room for lunch service, serve lunch, and work in dishwashing as well as all other tasks that occur in a large kitchen.

You will be responsible for the quality of the food and for providing our diners with a good and welcoming reception.

Your profile

Meritorious:

• Documented experience in large kitchens
• Knowledge of self-control/HACCP
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills

Since you will be part of a small workgroup, it is important that you are flexible and have a good ability to collaborate.
