ABOUT SKÅVSJÖHOLM:

Just 25 minutes from Stockholm C and 35 minutes from Arlanda, you will find Skåvsjöholm.

For these minutes, you get a lot of archipelago environment and nature experiences.

Close to the city but still so close to the archipelago, nature, and the sea. Here you are greeted by modern meeting rooms, sleep in fine hotel rooms, enjoy fantastic meals in a beautiful restaurant, and socialize in the relaxation area, bar, and gym. All with a stunning view of the water, nature always present, and everything under one roof. The goal is for you to have a flawless meeting where everything is connected; atmosphere, service, meals, technology, hotel rooms, and activities.

There are 17 meeting rooms of varying sizes and 97 hotel rooms, as well as a fantastic restaurant with acclaimed meals. All with a stunning view of the water and everything under one roof. Sustainability issues and care for the environment permeate the entire operation, and an active environmental effort has long been underway with the ambition to reduce environmental impact. OUR FOOD:

"If you have good ingredients, you don't need to complicate things – that's the philosophy and what we believe in. What we serve should be authentic and genuine from start to finish. We are passionate about finding the best flavors with the finest ingredients and transforming them into a meal that stays in your memory. Quality permeates all our cooking, from raw ingredients to finished dishes. We work with organic or KRAV-labeled products as much as possible and prioritize locally sourced ingredients for both meat and vegetables. The proximity to the water and the archipelago also makes fish a natural choice of ingredient.

My philosophy is that it always has to be really good, whether it's a hearty mushroom soup, a grilled pike-perch, or a juicy steak. And considering where the world is heading, it also feels important to contribute to a greener future. Together with my fantastic team, I get the chance to do this!  ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with top-quality ingredients and changing menus. You have several years of experience from restaurant kitchens, love the craft, and take great care in preparing the day's ingredients. Here, we like to have a pleasant atmosphere with laughter & development but never compromise on service, pace, or quality.

We believe you are a person with high ambitions who is not afraid to juggle many tasks. You are a driven, flexible, and positive chef with a sense of taste, quality, and service. You have the ability to work independently but are part of a relatively small team, take responsibility for your work, and are inspired by challenges to find solutions to various requests. You are involved in the daily operations, help plan menus and purchases, and also play a part in maintaining key figures. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of baking and creating desserts. Skåvsjöholm is located about 1.5 km from public transport with irregular traffic, and the working hours are varied, so you need to have a driver's license and access to your own car. Working hours vary on days, evenings, and weekends.

ABOUT YOU AS A CANDIDATE:

For this position, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is self-driven and proactive with high ambitions and is used to taking responsibility.
  • Enjoys teamwork in a creative team that always strives forward.
  • Always wants to give your guests the best possible experience.
  • Has the will to go the extra mile and is consistent and meticulous.
  • Has relevant education.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in restaurant kitchens, it is a merit if you have worked in a conference facility.
  • Has good food and ingredient knowledge and good knowledge of HACCP.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

You are offered a lovely archipelago environment, friendly colleagues, and a safe working environment with a collective agreement. The position is a permanent employment at 100%, with a 6-month probationary period.
