Your New Job

Luna Preschool will consist of four departments this spring, and we are opening a fifth department. We serve meals to between 75-90 children and 12-15 educators. Lunch is delivered from a municipal school, and as a restaurant assistant, you are responsible for ensuring that the departments receive the correct number of portions and the appropriate special diets.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience in allergies and special diets, food hygiene and self-control, ordering, budgeting, and computer skills; experience in preschool work is an advantage. You are organized, solution-oriented, and service-minded with good collaboration skills. You will be in contact with the head chef at the school, and you need to be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We Expect You To:

• Follow laws and regulations applicable to a receiving kitchen.
• Be responsible for documentation of self-control.
• Be responsible for receiving, keeping warm, and distributing food deliveries.
• Ensure that children with special diets/allergies receive the correct food.
• Collaborate with children, educators, management, and, if necessary, the responsible person in the school kitchen.
• Wash dishes after breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
• Prepare breakfast, snacks, and fruit according to instructions.
• Be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen.
• Ensure that the school kitchen receives information about the correct number of portions during holidays, for example.
• Be flexible with your working hours as we may have study days or celebrate something special with the children, such as traditions.
• Be able to use an iPad and computer for menus, shared documents, and our work tool Tempus.

Employment Scope

62.5% with working hours from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute break. Overtime may occur by agreement.
