About the Company

In 1960, Sonny Holmgren started a car sales company in a small location in Jönköping. It began with used cars, but soon expanded to new car sales and service workshop. Holmgrens Bil is now in its third generation and is one of Sweden's largest car dealerships, with a presence in 13 locations and a total of 15 facilities. We are represented in Blekinge, Småland, Östergötland, Närke, Södermanland, and Västra Götaland.

At Holmgrens Bil in Skövde, the workshop is authorized for the brands BMW, Hyundai, Nissan, MG, and Mini.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced automotive technicians to join our team in Skövde! With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in your role and work in a modern workshop with well-known car brands such as BMW, Nissan, Hyundai, MG, and Mini. You will primarily work with one or two of these brands, but have the opportunity to broaden your skills and work with more over time.

An automotive technician's workday is never the same. Here, you will work broadly with everything related to repair and maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for independently performing these tasks in a professional manner. The work includes troubleshooting, fixing faults, checking measures, and test driving.

If you become part of our team, you will work in our nice facilities in Skövde with a wonderful group of colleagues. Our working hours are 07–16.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed automotive technical education and has at least 3-5 years of experience in the field. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a brand workshop, but it is not a requirement. Knowledge of diagnostics and troubleshooting, good computer skills, and proficiency in Swedish and English are required. We also expect you to have a manual B driver's license.

An important part for us is having the right person in the right place, so your attitude and mindset are crucial factors. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, goal-oriented, and who sees opportunities instead of problems. You have a strong sense of service and can build long-term relationships with both customers and your colleagues.
