About the role

As a backend developer for our platform Blika, you will be part of a team of 6 colleagues in various roles, based in our office in Kalmar. Blika is one of Aunetics' SaaS platforms that helps companies and organizations navigate complex tax regulations.

We operate in highly regulated areas and are constantly affected by new regulations, which means we continuously develop new functionality to meet customer needs. With us, you will work on complex problems that require deep understanding, thoughtful architecture, and scalable solutions — while also building on a codebase that you can truly influence and develop over time.

We are a close-knit team where our working method is agile-inspired with clear processes and a focus on quality. We work with short decision paths, close collaboration, and a lot of dialogue. Important qualities include a willingness to share knowledge, help colleagues, work independently, but above all, to be a true team player.

About you

You are a backend developer who enjoys solving complex problems, exploring new technical patterns, and understanding systems from start to finish. You are driven to build software that lasts over time and want to help shape how a modern SaaS platform should function. You have an interest in architecture and are eager to contribute to the right decisions.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• extensive experience with C#
• deep knowledge of the .NET framework
• experience with databases, such as SQL Server
• experience with secure coding
• good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you have:

• an interest in improving agile work processes
• experience with cloud services (preferably Azure)
• knowledge of Entity Framework
• knowledge of Vue or another frontend framework
• good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• previous experience with systems in tax or finance
