Your Responsibilities

As an employee in the workshop, you will work in the grading department with manual and process grading and polishing of self-manufactured components for the aviation and defense industry. The work requires great precision and is usually performed under a microscope. You will belong to a workshop department that is responsible for and manages several processes such as manual and process grading, heat treatment, CNC and manual machining, and detail cleaning. You will have various workshop machines at your disposal, both manual and CNC controlled. You will also work on developing and improving the department together with your colleagues in the group and with support functions. You will be part of an engaged and positive workgroup of 5 people with diverse tasks that require responsibility and the ability to prioritize.

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven and innovative person. To succeed in this role, we see that you have previous experience in workshop technology, detail control, measurement technology, and manual machining. You should also be accustomed to working with your hands and have a good sense of detail. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and have good planning skills. You are driven by working goal-oriented and independently. Since you will also work closely with your workgroup, you enjoy collaborating and have good communication skills. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
