About the Position

We are currently looking for a machine operator/setup technician in the plastic industry for one of our clients just outside Värnamo! You should be residing in the local area as the position is intended to transition into employment after the hiring period.

The workplace offers a modern and pleasant facility. They extrude plastic products for the general industry and the medical technology sector, which are delivered to customers worldwide. A growing company is now seeking a skilled and dedicated setup technician who is ready to take on the challenge.

Your main tasks will include rigging, material changes, and operating tools in various machines for the production of plastic parts. You will receive a clear and thorough introduction with a long-term plan to become independent. The work is very varied, and later you will be responsible for starting up new items, so you need to have your own drive, responsibility, and be solution-focused.

As a person, you are meticulous, efficient, and quality-oriented. You have an eye for detail, enjoy working at a fast pace, and strive to provide customers with the best possible quality. The job involves both independent work and teamwork.

Working Hours: Shift work, but you will start with daytime in the initial phase.
Start: Immediately.

Your Profile

Requirements:

Experience with extrusion of hoses/profiles
Good knowledge of process technology and material science
Good knowledge of mathematics and measurement technology as the job requires you to make certain calculations
Good Swedish in both spoken and written form - as all information is in Swedish.
