For our new operation with the Armed Forces in Stockholm, we at ISS are looking for a dedicated and positive caretaker who is passionate about service. About the role

As a Caretaker, you, along with your colleagues, are responsible for ensuring that our customer's offices and premises convey a holistic experience of a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for employees and visitors. You will work with the maintenance and upkeep of the customer's premises. The tasks are varied, and you will work in different environments. Therefore, we highly value your personal and unpretentious commitment, as well as your ability to resolve arising situations.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Supervision, maintenance, and minor repairs
• Patrolling the customer's premises and reporting deviations according to set guidelines and acting within mandate
• Inventory, ordering, and restocking materials according to established routines
• Reporting faults in equipment and furnishings related to the premises connected to the service
• Handling internal and external mail and goods, delivering shipments to various addresses.
• Forklift driving
• Assembly of furniture
• Minor handyman tasks

The position is full-time, permanent employment with an initial six-month probationary period. The work location is Stockholm.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with good social skills who can independently see what needs to be done and drive the work forward. You thrive in the role of company representative and share ISS's desire to deliver world-class service. We would like you to easily create good relationships with both customers and colleagues and have the ability to collaborate as the work can be both individual and in groups.

You have a high school education and experience working in a similar position. We also prefer that you have experience from service professions. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of property technology and can perform minor repairs. You need to master Swedish in speech and writing and have good IT skills. We also prefer that you are handy and have an interest in electronics and/or machinery. A B driver's license is a requirement.

About the Armed Forces

The Armed Forces is a Swedish authority responsible for the country's defense. Therefore, there is a requirement for Swedish citizenship for positions performed within the Armed Forces' operations. Furthermore, the position involves placement in a security class, which means that a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment.
