School Custodian for Ösbyskolan

Ösbyskolan has been operating since 1996 and currently has about 680 students from preschool to grade 9.

Together with the students, our wonderful staff of about 90 dedicated employees works. Our school is characterized by both traditions and innovative thinking and development. We offer you a good working environment in modern premises. Ösbyskolan is located in Gustavsberg, Värmdö municipality with very good and frequent connections, approximately 25 minutes travel time from Slussen.

In the role of school custodian, you will work with a wide range of varied tasks related to the premises that affect the conditions for staff and our students. You feel comfortable working when the operations are in full swing and having contact with staff and students. You will also have many external contacts with, for example, representatives from the property owner, craftsmen, and courier services. You work based on the school's needs and the municipality's delineation list.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, self-driven, and flexible with very good organizational skills. You should have the ability to interact with children and youth and master the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms. You should want to collaborate both internally and externally and be able to create good relationships that promote cooperation.

Additional qualifications are that you:

• have experience working in a school environment
• are used to taking significant personal responsibility and driving your work forward to deliver good results
• have experience and knowledge of systematic fire protection work
• have experience in safety work and ongoing efforts for a safe and secure school
• have a positive view of students and assume that students can and want to.
• see collaboration as a necessity and pitch in where needed
• can work at varying times depending on assignments and needs

We place great importance on social competence and personal suitability.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
