Job Responsibilities

In the role of service technician, you will work with ongoing maintenance and repairs of elevators on your own route, responsible for performing service according to applicable intervals and troubleshooting customer downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance with suggestions for repairs to ensure minimal disruptions. You will have customer contact with clients who may also be building users, operational staff, operational technicians, property managers, etc. You will collaborate with Otis management and colleagues. Your daily work may also include other tasks within our operations, such as modernization of elevators. You will be part of our on-call service.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Practical high school education in, for example, electrical or technical fields or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the industry, primarily with elevator service, is required.
• Experience in troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Driving license B.
• Experience working with computers and smartphone applications with various systems is desired; computer work is involved.
• Fluent in Swedish, in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.
• Can make oneself understood in English in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.

Other Information and Conditions

• Employment: Permanent employment (6 months probationary period)
• Salary according to agreement and collective agreement – Installer Companies, SEF.
• Access to a service vehicle according to applicable car policy.
• Start: Immediately, by agreement.
• Working hours: Full-time, 100%, from 07:00 to 16:00
• On-call duty every 6th week outside regular working hours is included in the position when you are ready to work independently.
