Smarch is a team-based programme in Sweden where people collaborate to develop new professional opportunities together.

The programme takes place online and is free to join.

You join a small team where everyone is building their own dream career in a related role (for example development, design, media or games). Together you design something that works for all of you.

What you do

As a Tester / QA, you join a small team and contribute your skills within the IT industry.

Teams meet regularly online and work together on planning, research, and development tasks connected to a shared project.

Typical activities include:

• Exploring ideas for services or products
• Doing market or user research
• Helping to define features or content
• Contributing your professional skills to move the project forward

Who we look for

• 18+
• Experience or interest in QA, Testing, QA Automation, Game QA
• Currently seeking work or new opportunities
• Able to participate throughout the 6 weeks
• Lives in Sweden
• You already have an idea of your dream career and want to take steps toward it with others
• You understand that your teammates are also building their dream careers, and you want to co-create something that works for everyone

Gaps in your CV or current unemployment are not a problem.

• Start: January (early invitations may be sent earlier)

You participate at a realistic weekly pace, based on your own availability.

How it works

• Apply once through our survey
• You enter our queue
• When we find a good team match, you receive an invitation
• You confirm or decline quickly so the team can form
• You can also suggest your own idea — if suitable, it may become the project your team develops

Our goal is that everyone in the queue eventually gets a chance to join a team and work toward their dream career while continuing their job search.
